加拿大资助表观遗传学、环境与健康研究

2011年7月28日，加拿大健康研究院（CIHR）公布资助“加拿大表观遗传学、环境与健康研究协会（CEEHRC）表观遗传学、环境与健康研究”。此次资助是CIHR发展路线图“标志性行动计划（Roadmap Signature Initiatives）”之一。

此次资助的具体目标是：1）The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:该该      该Encourage Canadian investigators to develop novel tools and techniques, or novel applications of existing tools and techniques, to epigenetics research鼓励加拿大研究人员开发新的表观遗传学工具和技术，或对现有工具和技术开发新的用途；2）Support epigenetic research projects that demonstrate unusual potential for 'breakthrough' or transformative advances, advances, through explicit encouragement of risk-taking grants through the adjudication process支持那些已经被证明能产生突破性成果的研究项目，通过调整项目资助过程鼓励高风险研究；3）Support research that has the potential to inform the activities of the CEEHRC Epigenomic Mapping Centres (EMCs).支持能提高CEEHRC表观测绘中心（EMCS）研究效率的研究，包括但不限于：

（1）开发能快速确定组织特异性表观组学标记物的Development of tools for the rapid determination of tissue-specific epigenomic marks;工具；

（2）发现重要的Discovery of key tissue-specific epigenomic marks and related compounds;中重要的组织特异性表观组学标记物和相关化合物；

（3）研究Examination of the mechanisms underlying the heritability of epigenetic marks.检查1表观遗传学标记物的深层次遗传机制。
